How to distinguish between control cables and power cables

1. Different functions: Power cables are used in the backbone of power systems to transmit and distribute large functional electrical energy; Control cables are used for the control wiring of electrical equipment and appliances.  

2. Different categories: Power cables belong to the second category of the five major categories of cables; Control cables belong to the third category of the five major categories of cables (electrical equipment cables).  

3. Different standards: The standard for power cables is GB12706; The standard for control cables is 9330.

4. The identification of insulated core wires is different: the insulation of power cables generally adopts color phase separation; The color of the insulation core of the control cable is usually a single color printed with numerical numbers.  

5. Cable specifications: Power cables are mainly used for transmitting electricity, and the specifications used are generally larger, which can be customized up to 500 square meters; The cross-sectional area of the control cable is relatively small, generally not exceeding 10 square meters
